So I'm thinking about a Vermont golf trip early October. Never been, but the foliage pics look insane. Is that too late for golf? Like will courses be closed or just cold as hell? I'm a newbie to golf trips, only played munis around Chicago. Was looking at Stratton or maybe Okemo? Heard Killington is nice too but not sure. Any course recs? Also do I need to book tee times way ahead? And is it worth bringing my own clubs or renting? Thanks.
