BunkerBuster here, been lurking a few weeks. Jersey shore golfer, mostly public courses, mostly sand. Anyway here's the thing that's been eating at me.
My buddy carries the full 14 with a rangefinder and a little towel hanging off every club. He shoots 103. I carry 7 clubs in a Sunday bag, shoot 101, and I'm home in time for lunch. Explain that to me.
I genuinely think half the bag is decoration for most of us. Like when was the last time you needed your 5 iron AND your 4 hybrid in the same round? Be honest.
Not saying I'm good. I'm not. I'm just saying the extra clubs aren't what's holding anybody back. It's the chunked chip. Always the chunked chip.
What's the fewest clubs you've ever played with, and did your score actually change?
