Read somewhere that some pros putt looking at the hole instead of down at the ball, figured why not, my stroke is a mess anyway.

Tried it for 9 holes yesterday. Front nine normal, three 3-putts, business as usual. Back nine staring at the hole the whole time, zero 3-putts and I rolled in a 14 footer. Speed was weirdly good? Like my brain just knew how hard to hit it once I was looking at the target instead of my own hands.

But I have zero clue where the face is pointing. Pulled two of them left and felt like an idiot standing over the ball staring 20 feet away.

Anyone actually stick with this long term or is it one of those things that works for a week then falls apart? And do you do it on 3 footers too or just lags?
