Talk me out of buying a Mevo+ for winter practice

Live in Ohio, season's basically done by mid November. Been going back and forth all fall on whether to drop $2k on a Mevo+ so I can keep swinging in the garage over winter, or just accept that I'll be a 15 again by April.

Thing is I know myself. I'll use it hard for like 6 weeks and then it sits next to the treadmill collecting dust. Every guy in my league who bought one says the same thing. And every guy in my league still has one lol.

Half of me wants to just grab a cheap radar and a net and call it good. Other half says if I'm doing this, do it right. I keep landing on the Mevo+ with the pro package for the spin numbers but honestly I don't know if I'll even use half that data.

Looked at the Approach R50 compare thread and the R50 sounds awesome right up until I see the price. Not happening.

So what's the move. Cheap radar + net for $500, or just buy the Mevo+ and stop pretending I'm being financially responsible about any of this.
