So I've been on GSPro basically every night since November (garage setup, R10 with the RCT balls, don't come at me lol). My sim handicap has settled around a 5. My actual GHIN is 13.1.
Thirteen. And one.
I get that sim golf is forgiving, no rough, perfect lies, gimme putts inside 8 feet, etc. But 8 shots is a LOT right? Or is that just how it goes? My buddy says his gap is only 3-4 and now I'm wondering if my real game is just trash or if my sim is lying to me.
Thing is I've been demoing drivers on the sim all winter and I'm flushing the GT3 like every single time, which is NOT what happens outside. Had the same issue reading into my GT3 driver launch issues when I first got it, and now I'm second guessing everything the sim tells me.
Anyone else track both? Do you actually use sim rounds to practice or is it just a video game at this point? I'm starting to think I'm practicing a completely different sport.
