Bought a used TaylorMade BRNR mini off a buddy for $180. Figured it'd be a nice fairway finder since my driver and I have not been on speaking terms most of this season.
Took it out yesterday for 9 holes. Off the tee it's honestly great, tight little draw, way more fairways than my actual driver. But it goes maybe 15 yards shorter on a good strike, and now my 3 wood just sits in the bag collecting dust. I think I've hit that 3 wood twice all year anyway.
So what's the move? Drop the 3 wood and run mini driver as the safe tee option? Keep both and just accept I'm carrying a club I never touch? I'm already rocking 4 wedges like a maniac so my 14 slots are spoken for. Curious what you guys do with yours.
