Did my first ever scramble fundraiser today. Four man, $125 a head, some church thing my buddy dragged me to. Our team shot 9 under and finished 6th. Six! The winners posted 16 under and one of the dudes looked like he'd never held a club before in his life.
Is this just how scrambles work? Like is every team secretly four guys who play off 5 pretending to be 20?
Honestly had a blast though. Hitting off the best drive every hole is addictive. Made me realize my irons aren't half as bad as I thought, my driver is just putting me in jail all day.
Do you guys actually keep honest scores at these or is it all a running joke at this point
