So my buddy swears the UP is the best kept secret in the midwest and has been bugging me all winter to book something around Marquette for late August. He says Greywalls is a top 100 course and we should just go.
I've done Traverse City twice and loved it but that's already a 4 hour drive for me. Marquette is like 7+. Is the golf up there actually that much better or am I just paying a toll in windshield time?
Also no idea where we'd stay. Seems like way fewer options than downstate. Anyone made this trip? Was it worth it or did you wish you just did TC again?
