Figured it was time. Been reading this board since like February and never said a word, which is weird for me because I never shut up on the course.
Quick version: EagleEye_Ed, 41, live in the Black Hills of SD. Home track sits around 4,200 feet and the wind comes off the granite like it's got a grudge. I play a 9 degree driver and still hit worm burners into a headwind. Best round this year was a 78 last Tuesday, followed it up with a 94 on Saturday so that tells you everything about my game.
We get mule deer on the 7th fairway almost every evening. Had one stand there while I was putting. Didn't flinch. I three putted, obviously.
Anyway, what's the wind situation where you all play? I'm convinced half my strokes are just me guessing which way it's blowing.
