So our commish announced last week we get one free breakfast ball on hole 1. No penalty, just re-tee if you duff it. Sounded harmless enough right?
Fast forward to Tuesday. Guy in my group tops his drive, uses the breakfast ball, stripes it down the middle. Then he asks if he can carry it over to hole 2 since he "didn't really need it." Commish shot it down. Guy got weird about it the rest of the round.
Now half the league wants one per nine instead of one per round. Other half is saying it's a league, not a Saturday scramble, just play your ball. I'm kinda in that second camp tbh but I also topped my first drive last week so who am I to talk.
Anybody else's league do the breakfast ball thing? And if so how do you keep it from turning into a whole negotiation every week?
