So our league re-flighted everybody after week 6 based on your last 3 rounds. I was in B flight all spring, shooting like 88-92, nothing special but I wasn't embarrassing myself. Then I had two good rounds back to back (86 and 85, career stuff for me) and boom. A flight now.
Played my first A flight round last night. Shot 97. NINE SEVEN. The guys in my group kept saying "oh you'll adjust" while I watched my ball roll off the back of the green for the fourth time. One of them was hitting a 4 iron into a par 4 like it was nothing.
Idk if I'm being dramatic but mid season re-flighting feels like it punishes you for having a hot streak?? I finally play well and my reward is getting fed to the sharks. Meanwhile a guy who I'm pretty sure sandbagged all spring is still sitting comfy in B flight.
Also unrelated but my betta fish has been acting weird all week, just floating in the corner, and I'm worried he's sick. So combine that with the 97 and it's been a rough few days lol.
Does anyone else's league re-flight mid season? Is this normal or is mine just chaotic? And do I appeal or do I just take my lumps for 3 weeks
