Our league just dropped a two-club challenge for next Thursday's 9-hole night. You pick two clubs, putter counts as one, and you can't swap. I've been messing around with 5-iron + 56 degree and honestly it's humbling. Par 3s are fine but the 440 yard par 5 becomes a three-shot layup contest lol. Anyone played one of these? What's the ideal two-club setup? I'm tempted to go 3-wood + 7-iron but no putter is a disaster. Have you tried putting with a wedge? I did it once on a whim and three-putted from 12 feet. Never again.
