So our league stuck a pro on the par 3 7th last night. $5 a ball, closest inside his shot wins the pot, and if you actually beat him you split half the pot with the league. Guy is a legit +2 club pro so I figured it was a donation.
I paid twice. First one I chunked it short of the bunker lol. Second one I hit it to like 12 feet and he stiffed it to 4. Of course.
Pot got up to $180 by the end and some 14 handicap took it with a kick-in birdie, place went nuts. Best $10 I've spent at a league night in a while.
Anyone else's league run something like this? Curious how they set the payout so the pro doesn't just clean up every week.
