Been working on my short game for a few months and wedges have been a disaster. Especially from tight lies, I either skull it or chunk it. Read about wedge bounce issues and it made sense but didn't help me fix it.
Anyway, saw a guy at the range chipping with his hybrid and thought why not. Grabbed my 4 hybrid, choked down, used a putting stroke, and holy crap. Every chip was rolling out nice and close. Is this a thing? Am I going to regret this when I get on faster greens? Or should I just ditch wedges around the green? I'm a 18 handicap if that matters.
