So, I finally splurged on the Mevo+ thing last week for practice at the course. It was pretty cool seeing all the stuff like spin rate and launch angle on the screen, right? But tbh, after hitting like 20 balls, I realized I wasn't actually paying attention to any of it. I just focused on the feel and the distance.
Like, is it even worth buying all this gear if you're just going to ignore the analytics? I mean, I get that you guys use it for deep analysis, but for just casual practice, does the extra data actually help improve my game, or is it just a fancy way to feel productive? I feel like I'm just paying for a cool dashboard.
Has anyone figured out a way to actually tie all that info together into something that translates to my actual on-course playing? Any tips on what metric I should actually be tracking?
