So I'm about 3 months in and someone at the range told me I was holding the club like I was trying to choke it out. Never even thought about grip pressure before that.
Played around with it the last two sessions. Like a 3 out of 10 pressure and the driver actually stopped slicing so much? But now my irons feel like the club is gonna fly out of my hands on the downswing. Almost lost my 7 iron twice, no joke.
Is there a happy medium here or do you just get used to the light feel? I keep going back and forth between death grip and barely holding it and neither one feels right on the irons. Driver's loving the light grip though.
Curious what number people would actually put on it. Or is that even a useful way to think about it?
