how do you actually get on the PGA Tour? I'm so confused

So I've been watching golf with my boyfriend for like a month now and I still don't understand how someone actually gets on the PGA Tour. Like is it just Q-School? But then I heard about the Korn Ferry Tour and Monday qualifiers and now I'm lost. Does everyone have to go through the same path? What about guys like Ludvig Aberg who seemed to show up out of nowhere? Did he skip something?

Also what's the deal with sponsor exemptions? Can anyone just get one if they know someone? And why do some players have PGA Tour cards and others don't? I feel dumb asking but google just gives me a wall of text. My boyfriend keeps yelling at the TV about 'conditional status' and I nod like I know what that means.

And what about the DP World Tour? Can you get to the PGA Tour from there? I saw some guys play both. Is that allowed? I'm so confused.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm just trying to understand the sport better. Also off topic but my betta fish looks sick and I'm stressed, so maybe that's why I can't focus on the golf stuff lol.
