So me and 3 buddies are trying to pull off our first real golf trip. Coming from KC, so about 7 hours. Looking at late October because we're all cheap and rates drop.
Main question: is Hot Springs actually a golf town or is it a spa town that happens to have courses? I keep seeing Hot Springs Country Club (two courses?) and Belvedere pop up. Belvedere looks old school and cheap which honestly appeals to us. Glenwood too.
Also how's the weather late Oct down there? I'm scarred from a Missouri trip last year where we got 40 degrees and sideways rain.
And do people actually do the bathhouse stuff or is that just for the wives? Half our group would probably be into it, the other half would give them hell for it lol.
Any lodging recs near the courses would help too. We're not fancy.
