Got my first eagle in 5 years today on a 480 yard par 5. Still shaking.

So I'm playing the back nine at my home course in the Black Hills, right? This par 5 is 480 from the tips, but it plays longer because it's uphill and the wind was in our face. I hit a decent drive, about 260, but it was in the left rough. Then I had about 220 to the pin, uphill, into the wind. I grabbed my 3 hybrid and just tried to put a smooth swing on it. Made perfect contact, ball never left the flag. It lands about 10 feet short, rolls up, and drops in. I didn't even see it go in, my buddy went nuts. First eagle in like 5 years of playing. Anyone else get their first eagle in a weird way? Like a hole out from the fairway or a lucky bounce?
