So I've been getting into golf this year, mostly watching PGA Tour stuff. Decided to check out Ryder Cup highlights from last time. What the hell is foursomes? And fourballs? They're hitting the same ball? And why is it Europe vs USA? Seems kinda arbitrary. Also how do they pick the teams? I saw something about captain's picks. Is that like a wildcard? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I'm new to this.
