Been playing Pebble Beach's public days and Pacific Grove when I can't justify the price, and I swear my game just leaves after the turn. Carded a 42 on the front at Pacific Grove last Sunday, then an absolute 51 on the back. 51!! On the SAME course with the SAME clubs lol.
My buddy says it's fitness, that my legs are done by hole 13 and everything falls apart. Started bringing a banana and a granola bar in the bag like some kind of tour pro, hasn't helped much tbh. What HAS helped a little is slowing my pre-shot routine way down on the back nine, like deliberately exaggerating it so I don't rush.
But the driver is the real problem. Back nine tension = full boat slice into whatever trouble is available. Finally got my swing somewhat sorted over the winter (wrote about it in the slice thread, huge shoutout to whoever recommended the foot spray drill, life changer)

Anyway curious if anyone's cracked the late round fade. Is it mental? Conditioning? Do you pros just play 9 holes and quit while you're ahead?? Asking for my handicap (28 and proud, don't judge)
