So my brother in law keeps pushing Asheville for our fall trip. He's been watching too many leaf cam videos I think. I've never been and honestly I don't know anyone who's played there.
Looking at Sequoyah National and the Omni Grove Park course mainly. Maybe Mount Mitchell if we're feeling brave. Late October, four of us, probably 3 nights.
Two things I'm worried about. One, is the leaf peeper crowd gonna make lodging and tee times a nightmare? Like do I need to book now or what. Two, does the fall rain just wreck the whole thing up there? I'm from the flat part of the state so the mountain weather idea freaks me out a little.
Also somebody told me the ball flies different at elevation. Is that real or is he messing with me? I already lose enough balls without the mountain helping.
