Played 9 holes alone last night, shot 48. Same course two days earlier with my usual foursome, shot 40. Same tees, same weather, no wind, greens were actually slower yesterday.
I don't get it. When I'm alone I'm done in like 90 minutes and it's just swing, walk, swing, no time to reset. Or maybe the opposite, nobody to bullshit with so my brain just chews on every bad shot for 3 holes.
Putting was the worst part. Nobody to read the greens with, I left everything short. Weirdly felt like I couldn't trust my own line.
Anyone else deal with this? Or am I just making excuses for a bad round lol
