Just got into golf this year after watching the Ryder Cup and getting hooked. So I started looking up other team events and found the Presidents Cup. It's coming up in September at Royal Montreal. But honestly, I don't get the hype. The International team seems like a bunch of guys I've never heard of, and the US team is basically the Ryder Cup team minus Europe. Is it just me or does this event feel like an afterthought? Do people actually watch it? And is it worth my time as a new fan? Or should I just wait for the next Ryder Cup?
